How do editors select reviewers, assess their reports, and make final decisions? When should authors consult editors about a revision plan or appeal a decision? How does the transfer process between journals work? What kinds of manuscripts are Cell Systems and other Cell Press sister journals looking for? What should authors keep in mind when submitting a manuscript so that editors can provide an efficient and constructive review process?
